Pika is seeking an experienced Head of Infrastructure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing the underlying architecture for large models, particularly LLMs. As a Head of Infrastructure at Pika, you will ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our AI systems.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement infrastructure solutions to support large-scale AI models and applications.

Oversee the deployment and maintenance of servers, networks, and cloud environments.

Ensure server stability and promptly respond to server issues to minimize downtime.

Ensure the infrastructure scales efficiently to meet the demands of large model training.

Work closely with the engineering teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.

Continuously explore new technologies and methods to optimize infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.

Lead infrastructure engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

Minimum 6 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on large-scale systems and AI models.

Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and storage solutions.

Experience with PyTorch or similar deep learning frameworks.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.

Former experience of working at startups is a plus.
